Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 15, 2026
FixKitz is a World Unities company building products, tools, media systems and experimental product experiences. This policy explains the general information practices for this website and products that link to it.
Information we may collect
- Information you choose to provide, such as messages, questions, files, form responses or product inputs.
- Contact or account information when a product needs it and you choose to provide it.
- Technical and usage information such as pages visited, device/browser information, referral source, approximate location derived from network information, and product events.
- Feedback, trial activity and support communications.
How we use information
- Provide, operate and improve the product you are using.
- Answer questions, recommend relevant products and support trials.
- Measure whether pages, funnels and products are understandable and useful.
- Protect the service, prevent abuse and diagnose reliability problems.
- Develop new features and products using aggregated, de-identified or appropriately authorized information where practical.
AI and service providers
Some products may use third-party hosting, analytics, communications, model, voice, payment or infrastructure providers. Information needed to perform the requested function may be processed by those providers under their own terms and our applicable agreements. We aim to keep providers replaceable and to send only what is reasonably needed for the function.
What we measure
We measure how this site is used so we can tell which free tools and lessons help people, which to improve, and which to retire. This is the complete list of what fixkitz.com measures today.
Every page: Vercel Web Analytics
- Page views. For each view: the page address, the page that sent you here, your country, region and city worked out from your network address, your device type, operating system and browser, and the time. Before anything is sent to Vercel, the page removes everything after a "?" or "#" in its own address, so Vercel does not receive the query string or fragment of the page you are on. Vercel's script also receives the address of the page that sent you here (the referring page), and that address is not shortened: the "?" and "#" removal applies to this site's own page addresses only. Your browser decides how much of the referring address it passes on; when you came from another page of this site it is usually the full address, including anything after a "?". This removal applies to Vercel only; see Metricool below.
- No cookies. Vercel counts visitors with a hash made from the incoming request and discards it after 24 hours. Vercel states this data is anonymous and aggregated, and not tied to an individual or IP address. See Vercel Web Analytics privacy and compliance.
Named clicks (sent to Vercel Web Analytics)
- On the tools list: which category you jump to, which tool you open, and clicks on Request a tool. For Request a tool we record only where on the page it was clicked (the request box on the tools list, or the box shown when a search finds nothing), never anything you write.
- On each tool page: which tool you open and from where (its tool page, or a page reached from a link printed on something made with the tool), whether you load the tool inside our page, and which similar tool you click.
- On the offer to build a tool for you, shown on the tools list, tool pages and lesson pages: that you clicked, whether it was the email or the phone button, and the tool or lesson the offer was on, if any. Only these offer buttons record email or phone.
- In the tool search box: for searches of 3 or more characters, how many tools matched your search. Only when a search finds no tool at all do we also record what you searched for, after replacing anything that looks like an email address (any word containing @), any group of digits joined by spaces, dots, dashes, parentheses or plus signs that holds 7 or more digits in all (such as a phone number typed as 555 123 4567 or +1 (555) 123-4567), and any run of 4 or more digits with [removed], and then keeping only the first 40 characters. At most 5 searches are recorded per page view. This tells us which tools to build next. Please do not type personal details there.
- On lesson pages: which tool you open from a lesson and whether you press "I did this lesson". On the lessons list: clicks on Suggest a lesson.
- On the home page: clicks on the Free tools and Learn links and where on the page they were, fit-finder starts and where you started it, each answer you pick, and when you finish, your audience and goal answers together; products and trials you open; and free-preview clicks. When you ask the on-page guide a question, we record only the name of the topic it matched, such as "price" or "trial", never the words you typed.
- Nothing you type into a tool is ever recorded. Each tool is a separate page that states how it handles your data; most keep what you enter in your browser.
Home page only: Metricool
The home page also loads Metricool, a web analytics service that counts visits and where they came from. Metricool receives the address of the page you opened, including any parameters after a "?" or "#", as well as the page that sent you here and the size of your browser window. The "?" and "#" removal described above applies to Vercel only, not to Metricool. The tool pages, lesson pages, this policy and the terms do not load it.
If you contact us
If you email, call or text us, we receive what you send, such as your name, contact details and message, and use it only to reply and to do the work you ask for.
Content blockers that block analytics scripts stop the measurement above; the site and the tools still work.
Trials and product feedback
Trial and preview activity may be measured so we can learn whether a product is useful, where people get stuck and which products deserve more development. We do not treat a pageview as proof that someone is a customer.
Children and student privacy
The general FixKitz website is not directed to children under 13. Some learning products may be useful to students, but a product that intentionally collects personal information from children must use the consent, notice and data-minimization practices required for that product and jurisdiction. Schools and education customers may also have obligations under laws such as FERPA. Do not submit sensitive student records to a general-purpose product unless the product expressly supports that use.
Data retention and deletion
Retention depends on the product and purpose. We aim to keep information only as long as reasonably needed for the service, security, legal obligations or an explicitly described product function. Where a product provides an account or stored workspace, deletion controls or a support route should be described with that product.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the product. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so do not submit secrets or highly sensitive information unless the product specifically supports that category of data.
Your choices
- You can choose not to provide optional information.
- You can use browser controls to limit cookies or similar storage where supported.
- You can ask about access, correction or deletion of information associated with a product where applicable.
Changes
We may update this policy as products and data practices change. The date at the top will change when the policy is revised.
